Heather was born and raised in Idaho. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and earned her associates in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing dental hygiene for 14 years. Heather strives to provide a comfortable worry-free experience while providing patient education on maintaining optimal oral health. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends, family and her 2 dogs. As a Green Bay Packers fan, she looks forward to attending a game each year.
Karissa is the Clinic Coordinator at Osterkamp Family Dental, bringing over three years of experience in the dental field. She has developed a strong background in insurance processing, individualized treatment planning, and patient relations. As the office’s social connector, she works diligently to build rapport with everyone she interacts with. Karissa is dedicated to ensuring accuracy in insurance matters while advocating for each patient’s best interests.
With over 14 years of customer service experience, she genuinely enjoys engaging with people in various settings. One of her passions is functional medicine; she is currently taking courses and aspires to educate others on optimizing their health by treating the body as a whole. Her work at the dental office has deepened her understanding of how oral health is interconnected with overall well-being.
Karissa loves being outdoors when the weather permits. She enjoys paddle boarding, long-distance bike riding, and hiking. When it’s too cold for outdoor activities, she prefers being cozy at home or socializing with friends.

Originally from Washington State, Elizabeth has been a dental hygienist since 2017 and with Osterkamp Family Dental since 2020. Her mission is to provide patients with the tools and information needed to improve overall oral health. She strives to empower patients with the knowledge and resources needed to maintain a healthy smile, but also loves making patient connections and providing comfortable experiences at each visit. Out of the office she enjoys spending time hiking in the foothills or any outdoor physical activity.
Sara graduated from the Pima Medical Institute in 2016 with her degree in dental hygiene. However, Sara and brings a ton experience with her into our office as she has been in the dental field for 16 years. Born and raised in Washington she now loves calling Idaho home. She enjoys being known for her commitment to patient care and oral health education. As a parent to four kids, she feels strongly in her ability to bring gentle compassion into patient experiences with her.
Outside of the office Sara enjoys being on the golf course and taking care of their “zoo” where beyond the four kids her and her husband have dogs, cats, chickens and fish!

I began my career as a dental assistant in 2018, driven by a passion for patient care and a deep interest in the field of dentistry. Over the years, I have gained extensive hands-on experience in various aspects of dental assisting, ensuring both the comfort of patients and the smooth operation of the practice. My role has involved working closely with dentists to assist in a variety of procedures, including root canals, fillings, crowns, and other restorative treatments. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to providing excellent patient care, maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment, and working as part of a team to deliver top-notch dental services. I look forward to continuing to develop my skills and contribute to the success of Osterkamp Family Dental.
When I’m not helping patients achieve healthy smiles, I enjoy spending time at home with my husband and our cat, Sylvester. Though I’m naturally more reserved, I value quality time with my loved ones and enjoy the peaceful moments of home life. My approach to dentistry is calm, thoughtful, and patient-focused, ensuring that every visit is as comfortable and personalized as possible.
